Simple is Often Best

Just a quick check-in while making dinner.  Made these beautiful salads with our first mini cucumbers of the season, our fresh cheese and fresh basil.  (Our tomatoes aren't quite ready yet.)

So simple, and so good.  Cucumbers, tomatoes, fresh basil, feta or fresh mozzarella (someone - ahem - doesn't like feta :-).

Just before serving, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and fleur de sel.

  1. Looks so good! can't wait for our tomatoes to ripen. And we are loving Maldon salt over fleur de sel these days. So many nice salts to choose from!
