Poblano Peppers

I love these deep green peppers.  Some of my favourites.  Sadly, not always available where we live and often hard to find.

We were downtown in the market yesterday after brunch, and a I found some at a specialty food shop.  I bought what they had (I left one for some other adventurous foodie) and scurried home with my prize.

I don't have any plans to use them soon, so we smoked them a little on the BGE, then I cooled them, skinned them and vacuum sealed them, for a rainy day :-)  We bought a new Foodsaver vacuum sealer a couple of weeks ago.  Our first one, we left in Barbados, for when we visit - so I can vacuum seal my fish for the trip home.
